You never know what jewelry creations come alive in the Wednesday Jewelry Workshop at Country Bumpkin! Robin, a faithful Country Bumpkin customer joined Pam this Wednesday in the workshop and took home with her this gorgeous copper cuff, created right there in the workshop. We know you all are talented, so drop in for our $5 Wednesday workshop to see what inspires you to create! You have access to all our workshop tools, including our new Vintaj Sizzix Machine, where you can emboss metal pieces up to 24 gauge. A staff member will be there to help with questions or demos and it’s just plain fun! Join us next Wednesday and see what jewelry treasure you can create!

Summer Camps at Country Bumpkin!

Signs of warmer weather are here and it’s time to get those Summer Camps checked of for the kids! Country Bumpkin will be hosting 2 Art camps offered through the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Department, one for the jewelry maker and another for that budding artist! Registration for both camps is done through the Recreation department, $45 resident/$52 non-resident with a $10 supplies fee to instructor. Both classes run from 10:00am-12:00pm.

Bedazzled Bead Camp, June 11-15, ages 8-13. Create our own jewelry while having fun with beads!

3-D Art Camp, July 9-13, ages 8-13. Work with clay, origami, paper mâché and more!

I never understood the term “winter white.” Even spending a childhood in snowy Pennsylvania, winter white did not make sense to me. After all, it was considered fashion faux pas to wear white shoes or white pants after Labor Day.
